welp... that’d be me missus anyway.... im just kitchenbitching away getting snacks sorted

currently frying up some garlic gambas (to be served with a bunch of tiny dutch flags stabbed through them... for the sake of coz i can) also sliced up a french stick with various toppings (everything from garlic butter to salmon)

dunno what ill make once they polish of that plate of snackables.... but i got aproximately all the tasties from the shop so i’ll be having fun cooking up snackages all night :)

You know what you could do with those snacks? Have a few drinks and invite some people over.

Then take them into the back yard and have more drinks.

Just make sure to leave your glasses in a safe place.

I miss Terry Wogan talking over the introductions.

Graham Norton does a good job, but it’s not the same.

Try watching the BBC version.

One of the presenters was talking to a guy called the professor (dressed like a wizard). Graham Norton said, ‘surprisingly he’s 66, looks more 96 really’.

terry Wogan would always take the piss out of them.

He was very out spoken how a lot of the voting was political like Cyprus giving high votes to Greece and Turkey, and so on.

There are too many different types of voting. It used to be a panel, but now a lot of it is by phone votes, text, or internet which made it less political but not all countries do the new style of voting.

always figured the taking the piss was what eurovision was all about... half the songs used to be pretty jokey n all... its drifting more towards generic pop now... (tho.. i gotta say... i like israels chicken lady)

voting still seems to be plenty political... especially when it comes to the eastbloc

Israels song is crap, really crap, ‘I’m not your toy, you stupid boy’.

A lot of the countries take it so incredibly serious, we just have a laugh.

The Netherlands is on now. Singing in a American country rock style, ?????????

The eastern block still do it the old way and they are doing what central and western Europe were doing in the 70-80s.
